Wip: My Always on Desk AI Assistant "42" Just Made A 40% Return in 24 Hours
I have always loved the ominous and or comical answer to life, depending on how you look at it, from the computer in the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. If you don't remember or haven't read the book, the computer is asked: "What is the meaning of life" and it answers "42". It's really the best answer.
Anyway, full pivot now to what I am really writing about in this post: My new AI desk assistant that I named "42". In the last couple weeks there has been quite a significant mental unlock amongst the software technical laymen software tinkerers like myself. I am not an AI expert, but I have built machine learning models when at Microsoft and also understand and write software so I am not completely in the dark. Many somewhat technical people like myself have not really had a simple way to use agentic AI (chaining LLM queries together) outside of their normal coding flow. But that all changed with the release of Clawdbot, which is now called OpenClaw due to trademark infringment.
OpenClaw basically pulls together a few key ingredients that make it feel like an almost full AI assistant.
